My sister, cousin and I went on a day trip to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces whilst we were on holiday in Bali. I'm so glad we went and saw the beautiful, green, peaceful fields. We walked up and down the terraces, taking photos and admiring the lush and bountiful fields that you could see far into the distance.

Corner House, Bali
We ate so well whilst on holidays, there are many beautiful restaurants and cafes in Bali, very reasonably priced too. One morning, we went to the stunning Corner House for coffee, we met the lovely Fliss - who I've gotten to know on Instagram over the years. It was so nice to meet an online friend in real life. We chatted so freely and could have easily spent more time together. I look forward to meeting up with Fliss and her family the next time we're in Bali.
Corner House is beautifully designed and is run by an Aussie couple. Look at those tiles?! I had a delicious juice, we didn't eat anything, but from what I saw the food looked great.

Neighbourhood details: Bali style
As mentioned in my previous post, we stayed in the area of Canggu whilst in Bali. We rented an amazing villa with an incredible private pool. Canggu is an up and coming area, it's known for it's surf beaches and is 10 minutes from trendy Seminyak. We took a couple of walks around the area and to the beach, as well as drove around with a lovely local driver. I loved looking out on to the green rice fields that were everywhere.

Old Man's Bali
So happy to be finally sharing photos from our holiday in Bali. We were there two months a go and I'd go back in a heartbeat if I could. I wasn't expecting to love it so much. The above pics I took at Old Man's in Canggu, which was not too far from where we were staying. We ended up visiting this place a few times, it was so relaxed and nice hanging out and we also got to admire the amazing murals by Lucas Grogan too. I'd definitely recommend visiting Old Man's if you ever go to Bali.
Happy Friday friends.

Winter Swimmers
As usual I'm catching up on posting film photos. These are from a winter's morning at Bronte beach. It's warming up in Sydney, last weekend I took my first dip in the sea. It's still chilly, but very refreshing. This weekend, we plan more swims.
Happy Friday.

A walk with friends
One Sunday not too long a go, I went on a bush walk with Maria and Will in the Royal National Park. We hiked through the bush, chatting and stopping to take photos, appreciate the flora and stunning colours of the landscape. We eventually came to the coast, sat and had a simple picnic on some rocks by the ocean. We then hiked back to where the car was parked appreciating the beautiful winter's sun and our stunning surrounds. It was a great day. I look forward to returning to the National Park again to discover some more natural beauty.

Local adventures
We find ourselves outdoors a lot these days. Having a 19 month old who adores being outside helps this pattern. We walk the streets and visit the local parks a lot, but we also jump in the car and drive a short distance to explore other parts of our beautiful neighbourhood and city. Today is a beautiful day, Teddy and I will walk down to the local beach this afternoon, with a bucket and spade in tow... I can't wait for it to be a little warmer for ocean swims!
Happy Wednesday folks.
