windswept
out of the ten days we were on holiday, we only had one and a half days that were overcast. it was still warm and we went swimming
at the beach. i also took a walk through the bush reserve that was across form the house we were staying in.
i must admit i don't mind the odd cloudy day, i must be used to them having lived in london for 5 years :)
i like how the light is different and the beach can be very moody on a grey day.
i took quite a few photos when it was cloudy. more to come in the next few posts.
p.s aren't these windswept trees beautiful?

after a huge homemade brunch on the saturday morning, we rugged up, put gumboots on and all got in the back of the ute and took
a drive through the property. we made our way to the pine forest.

blackheath
we've left the french alps for the time being and now we're in the blue mountains of new south wales, just over an hour west of sydney.
the blue mountains are special for me, as i spent many family holidays as a child staying in my grandparents holiday house in leura.
photos above are from blackheath park and pool, where i loved going on a hot summer's day to picnic, play and swim. it was nice visiting
again and taking a trip down memory lane.
