the best swimming spots

we heard that the best swimming spots were reached by boat, so we hired a boat one day.
we had a really fun day and were in awe of the beauty. gosh, that water - so beautiful.
i could take a dip right about now please (in reality i am at home, looking after a sick baby).

our little traveller

teddy boy was a good little travelling partner. he got back into a routine well and rolled with the punches.. even taking the heat in
his stride in sardinia. we were careful not to overdo it, have quiet time at home, as well as get out and about.

polo and i have travelled a lot, but it certainly was a lot different travelling with a baby in tow. still fun, but less spontaneous and we
didn't do much bar hopping or dancing! :) we just made cocktails at home instead.

it's a shame he won't remember this trip, but we have lovely photos and stories to share when he is older. there will also be plenty
more trips to come in the future! what a lucky boy, i didn't travel internationally until i was 20.

this was the coastline 10 minutes drive from where we were staying. we arrived in the morning for a swim, all hopped out of the car,
walked to the edge of the road and were greeted by this stunning coastline. WOW. take me back.

dinner prep

i love italy, the produce is to die for. we ate and drank so well! we holidayed with our best friends, who also love their food and can
cook up a delicious storm. every mealtime was a joy for the senses. can we go back now, please?

early at the beach

our first morning waking up in Sardinia, we headed straight to the beach. there were only a few other people there, but it was
already hot. this was the local beach about a 10min walk from where we were staying.

we had cake for breakfast one morning, not any old cake, but cake from voilets. who could resist, when we were staying a one
minute walk away. wish voilet had a shop in sydney.

hooray it's the weekend! treat yourself with a piece of cake. if you're reading in london, go have a piece for me at voilets.
please and thank you.

p.s next week, i'll be sharing beach photos from sardinia!
