North Coast Holidays

Back in January, we went on holidays with my family to Finagl Bay, which is about 3.5 hours up the coast from Sydney. You may remember my photos from two years ago, when we holidayed in the same place. It seems like it's become a family tradition, which is a great thing!

Whilst on holiday, we ate lots of local oysters, spent lots of time at the beach, explored the area and just relaxed and hung out.

I'll be sharing some pics in my next few posts.

A swim at dusk

My youngest sister and made a new tradition this summer, swims at dusk. Nothing like a swim in the ocean, as the sun is setting. Washing away the day and being so happy and content in that moment. It's autumn in Sydney now, but we continue to swim in the ocean. It's 25 degrees celsius some days - so still lovely and warm. I plan to swim for as long as I can... I may even buy myself a half wetsuit, for the cooler months.

Day trip

My parents holiday in the beautiful Blue Mountains a few times a year. They spent a week there, in January with my little brother (pictured). Polo, Teddy and I joined them for a day. We hung out, played in the garden with the sprinkler and hose and also went to one of the many look outs to take in the stunning view.

The Blue Mountains holds a special place in my heart, as my paternal grandparents owned a holiday house for a long time. I grew up holidaying there and hope to holiday in the area with my own children in the future.

S I X

So, this little old blog of min turned 6 at the end of February. Yep, 6.
The last couple of years, I've been a bit absent from this space. I'm also not really sure if people still look at blogs...
Anyway, I plan to continue coming here and posting pics. It'll probably remain sporadic. Ah well, that's life.

Thanks for everyone that does still come and here and take a look and also leaves a comment. I do really appreciate it.
